Insurance:


– The hirer is insured in the event of an equipment failure.
– Any accident must be reported within 24 hours.

Conditions:

– The hirer is responsible for the cycle from the beginning of the rental period (art. 1383 and 1384 of the Civil Code).
– Any rental made is not refunded.
– Minors must present a discharge signed by the person who is responsible for them.
– Duration of the day: 8 hours.
– Any damage to the vehicle shall be charged to the hirer.
– The hirer must provide for the routine maintenance of the cycle.
– Repairs carried out outside the Cycland Centers shall not be refunded.
– The equipment must be returned clean.
– Since 01/10/08, when riding at night, or during the day when visibility is insufficient, all drivers and passengers of a cycle must wear a high visibility vest that complies with the traffic regulations on country roads, under penalty of a fine (Art. R. 431-1-1. of the Highway Code). Cycland offers these for sale.
– The use of a child’s trailer is authorised from the age of 18 months.
– Anyone who rents an electric bike shall make sure to respect the battery charging time of a maximum of 4 hours.
– All children aged 12 and under must wear a helmet.

It is forbidden to:


– Ride on the beach.
– Ride up or down the pavement on a bike.
– Carry a person over 5 years old on a luggage rack.
– Sublet.
– Extend the rental period without prior agreement.
– Wear headphones and making phone calls while riding a bike.
